Mobile Fence monitors which app screen is currently running on the device, checks the blocking conditions, and then blocks the screen.

If a child launches the Contacts app to make a call during a restricted time period, the app screen will be blocked, preventing the call. However, if the child was already on a call before the restricted time period began, the background process currently in operation will not be forcibly terminated to disconnect the call.
