Sleep mode description and disable function
Sleep Mode, introduced in Android 6.0, limits background location tracking when the device is in standby mode due to prolonged inactivity. This tendency becomes more pronounced in newer Android versions, which may result in delayed location information updates.
Mobile Fence provides a 'Wake up Sleep Mode' feature to overcome these environmental constraints. If real-time information cannot be retrieved during a location search, this feature can be used to forcibly wake the child's device from sleep mode and re-collect location data.
Please note that because the child's device screen will actually turn on during this process, your child might realize they are being tracked or find it unusual. Therefore, use this feature only when an emergency location search is absolutely necessary.

3) Location Search → Wake up Sleep Mode
If the device is in a deeper sleep mode than the state shown in <Figure 1>, even the recent location may not be retrieved, and it may appear as shown in <Figure 3>. You can use the 'Check Device Online Status' feature to first test if the device is powered on and connected to the internet. Once the online status is confirmed, the 'Wake up Sleep Mode' feature will be displayed.
• This feature is available from v4.5 onwards and is an experimental feature, so normal operation is not guaranteed on all devices.
Requirements for the Wake up Sleep Mode feature

If the child's device is running Android 10 or higher and has a screen lock (PIN/Pattern) enabled, the "Wake up Sleep Mode" feature will not work regardless of the device model. To use the 'Wake up' feature, you must disable the screen lock. For more details, please refer to the help link below.
