Airplane mode blocked
Last updated :
Airplane mode blocking is a protective feature that prevents children from switching their device to airplane mode to disconnect from the network.
When airplane mode is enabled, Wi-Fi, mobile data, and calls are all blocked, leaving the device in a state where guardians cannot monitor or control it.
Due to the nature of mobile operating systems, when airplane mode is activated, the protection app also loses network connection, which can cause the following issues:
- Unable to connect via phone calls with the child
- Unable to check location or real-time usage status
- Changes to block/allow settings are not applied immediately
- App usage history and activity information are not transmitted
To prevent this, activating the airplane mode blocking feature ensures that:
- Any attempt by the child to turn on airplane mode is immediately blocked
- Communication is maintained, allowing guardians to monitor the device status at all times
- Mobile Fence's management and monitoring features function normally
• This feature is supported from v6.6.8. Please ensure that the Mobile Fence app installed on the child's device is up to date.
