When opening websites or playing videos via links in the Messages app, only the time spent in the Messages app is tracked, and the specific websites visited cannot be monitored. By following the settings below, links will open in a web browser instead of the Messages app, allowing the visited sites to be tracked in the timeline.

1) Open the Messages app on the child's device
2) Click the button → Settings
3) Click 'Additional Settings'
4) Turn off 'Open all links' and 'Show web previews'
5) Rule Settings → Apps → Labs → Block Message Settings → On
6) Rule Settings → Web → Block non-Chrome browsers → On

After completing the settings, you must turn on the 'Block Message Settings' feature to ensure the child cannot arbitrarily change the rules set by the parent.

• This setting is only available on Samsung devices.

• Links will still work even with this setting enabled. However, links will open in an external browser rather than within the Messages app, and will be subject to monitoring and blocking rules for visited websites.
