Disable WizLock

For V50, V50S, and Velvet models, there is an issue where monitoring usage history and blocking are not accurately performed when using the multitasking function with the Dual Screen accessory attached. In this case, the issue can be resolved by disabling the 'Wiz Lock' app, which enables multitasking, and configuring the anti-tamper settings.

 

Android Version 9

For Android version 9 or lower, follow the steps below on the child's device.

 

1. Uninstall the Wiz Lock app, which is dedicated to the V50 series.

Child's device Settings → General → Apps & notifications → App info → Click the magnifying glass icon → Search for "Wiz Lock" → Click "Wiz Lock" → Click "Uninstall"

2. Apply anti-tamper settings on the child's device to prevent Mobile Fence from being deleted or stopped.

 

Android Version 10

If you have updated the firmware to Android 10 or higher, the multitasking function is implemented to work automatically when the Dual Screen is attached. In this case, you must first downgrade to Android version 9 and then follow the instructions for "Android Version 9." Downgrading is available through the LG Electronics Service Center.
